    Peppa Pig - The Game

    Hi.

Shoot me down if you want because I've read all sorts on this and people seem to think it works.

I cant for the life of me get it going. Tried latest version of GX, CFG USB L, and NeoGamma (disk and USB launch) none of them work

I used pimpmywii to update everything.

Here is a signcheck image: All I get is a black screen no matter what I do, what am I doing wrong, been at it for three hours. peeing me off now.

    Any help much appreciated.

You shouldn't have a problem with peppa pig (usb loading)
I have this and its worked since I got it (I use wiiflow)
    Maybe because you used pimpmywii

Give wiiflow a try because peppa pig is not in the problematic games list you should be able to get it working

I'd guess you have a bad rip (but then I have no idea what I'm looking at from a syscheck), this was the first game I ever backed up as my daughter played it sooooo much the disc was starting to have seen better days. Apart from my sanity from the overly repetitive and down right irritating theme music never had a problem loading from either DVD-R or susequently USB LoaderGX & Configurable USB loader.

Do you have a problem with any other games?

    OK tried WIIFLOW, still nothing.

Updated all what I can see really not sure what to double check here any suggestions? I'll try and get hold of another copy and try that to test the bad rip theory.

Using NeoGamma (R7 & R8) I get the safety strap warning, then all the adverts then black screen
Using USBLoaderGX (Most recent Version) I get the safety strap warning, then all the adverts then black screen
Using Configurable USB Loader (Most recent Version) I get the safety strap warning, then all the adverts then black screen
Using WiiFlow, I just get a black screen and nothing at all.

Other games work fine (54 in total)

    Hmmmmmmmmm Puzzler

To be honest im totally stumped on this as peppa pig has worked flawlessly for me
Yes there was some initial issues with game when it was released but I believe that the backup loaders included a fix in later revisions.
this is an excerpt from a thread by Teal'c
    Peppa Pig..............................IOS53-64-v4113
This is the exact ios and original version peppa pig ran from.

Now if you have bootmii as boot2 and priiloader maybe try installing that ios revision
Make sure you are comfortable with doing this first I dont want you to brick your wii over peppa pig

This is my only option I can think of, after this I'm really stumped.

Downgraded IOS249 from Ver20 to Ver17 and BINGO!

Works from USB Loader GX, and CFG USB Loader but not WiiFlow. Which doesnt fuss me as I'm a GX man anyways.

I've now got a sleeping three year old who will be very excited when she gets home from pre-school tomorrow, AND I've bought me some quiet time even if it has an annoying soundtrack.

Thanks for the effort guys its very much appreciated

    Glad you got it working
Strange how it wasn't working what ios base did you have on rev 20?

Not too sure on that one, I'll level with you, I'm still learning and have attempted to run before I can walk. I'm still reading to get the hang of it all. I'm sure in a few days or so when I've done more reading I'll have an embarrased face, but yeah I'm glad too.

I upgraded to rev20 when I saw it was out (as i thought 'great! a better version'), when I did RedSteel and the new game Peppa wouldnt work, so I just installed rev 17 as doing some reading I found most poeple stated it was more stable then to my suprise it worked.

Its all a learning curve after a good amount of reading you should get there.
At least you have learned a good rule "newer ain't always better"
