Wii motion detection Ubisoft camera issues...

I got the "Your Shape" game together with the camera a couple of days ago, but I had a few concerns.
First, I heard that the "Racquet Sports" game is compatible also. I have a backup of the game but it can't detect the camera. It always gives the error "Turn the Wii off and connect the camera". So, is there anyway that I can run the game backup- whether your shape or racquet sports- and use the camera?
Second, is there anything else that I can this camera for? Like Skype or video chatting or even video recording of the kids?
    Thanks a lot...

For the first part, you will need to use Hermes 222/223 to use the second USB port correctly (link in my sig.). Second part, I have no idea. I know you can use the old eye toy from the PS2 as a webcam, so google it or try it, see what comes up.

Thanks a lot for your rapid reply, but I installed the cIOS 222 and 223. They are correctly installed as verified with the Sys check. The camera works with the original DVD but not with the backup file. What can I do?!!

Simply having them installed is not what you need. You need to change the settings in your USB loader to boot this game off of the 222 or 223 slot (usually 222). If you are using a 249 based USB Loader, then it will try to use it instead. Confirm that in your individual game settings for this game you are booting from 222.

Well, I have the Configurable USB Loader V61a3-222. I think it uses the cIOS 222, but I will make sure and confirm to you in a couple of hours.

Ok, if that is what you have, then it should have worked. Try going back down to v60-222, as v61 is still in alpha. If nothing else, it's good troubleshooting. (Use the .dol loading, it's easier to get rid of if it does not work)

Did what you said. Still, it works fine with the original DVD but not the backup file. I use a USB hard disk on the outer USB and the camera on the inner USB. But that's exactly what I use with the original DVD and they work fine.
Am I missing something, or that's how it is?!!
