Does you wii function the way it is supposed to now?

If you followed the guide that you said you did, your syscheck should look similar to this one:

My wii is working fine, here is a copy of my syscheck if you would like to compare too:

Ok! Thanks skellinator! Sorry for my late response =/ (quite busy at the moment) I will try my wii asap, just gotta format my HD and fix some small problems first. As soon that's fixed, I will give you the results (if the wii can play downloaded games)

    Thanks again / freddez90

Just tested the wii and got some bad results! It behaves as it did before ie when I load the game I got a black screen for about 5 sec and then it jumps out to the main menu ;(
If you still have tips for me I'd like you to share them asap!

    Peace F

By that you do mean games that you have legally downloaded from discs you own, I assume. Maybe they were just bad rips, try reloading them. There is also a List of problematic games and how to make them work guide you could check out.

Dumb question but you are plugging your hard drive into the BOTTOM usb port ONLY, it won't work on the top usb port and you will only get a black screen like you mentioned.

Just shooting in the dark here!!

Good. With all due respect, this thread went on a LOT longer then I would have imagined it would. >.< I'm glad something finally worked.
