    Found a Wii.....Suggestions?

Hey, I'm a newbie on this site, but I'd like some advice/suggestions. This seemed like the best place to post.

So today, I found a Nintendo Wii on the road. You could tell it was thrown from a moving car because it was in horrible condition, and pieces were everywhere. I'm supprized that it still works though, I've never heard of a Wii breaking from being dropped.....but thrown from a car?! I've made a good effort to return it to the houses that were on that road, but no one claimed it.

Anyways, I already have a Wii which I don't use too much, and want to know what I can do with it. Seeing as "I'm on WiiHacks.com, I will be told to mod it. If nothing interests me, I'll probably just give this to my sister so that she can have her own Wii.

Re-selling it is out of the question too. The corners are basically gone, and it's very scratched. I'm open to suggestions, although I've seen outer-casing mods with the Xbox where people cut out pictures and install LED's. I don't know how I would do that though.

streamlinehd may have (rumors be heard) a horde of parts if there's interest in cosmetically restoring the Wii. You're right though, never thought about a Wii being tossed from a moving vehicle (and surviving after a fashion at that, lol). Gen3SF has an excellent blog on case modding here as well.

Officially, the oddest story I have read on this site in quite some time. Good luck with it, because if something goes wrong, think about how much you lose. Nothing! >.<

You might find these links interesting if you want to simply want to repalce the case. You could go the extra step and replace the leds and make your wii the "bee's knees"

Yes, I have enough spare parts ATM to compile at least 10 full Wiis. I usually keep the parts for repairs however I'm still processing my last shipment and I have another 15 consoles on order. Needless to say, the parts are stockpiling fast and I have more than I need to hang on to. I have plenty of cases, face plates, case/motherboard screws, door covers, bt modules, wi-fi modules, etc.
