    CFG USB and BACKUP disc not loading games

    Can anyone tell me if my syscheck looks like it should for a working softmod wii?
    If it doesn't, what can i do to fix my problem?
    If it does, what can I do to be able to run discs and usbloader games?

    I followed a guide on another site to softmod a 4.3e with the indiana pwns hack. I was able to downgrade to 4.2e
    I was able to run mario galaxy 2 for around 5 minutes before I got a disk not support message. I was not able to run wii party. (I ran both of these from backup disk).

    I then came here and followed mauifogs mod any wii guide. Everything installed fine except IOS58 during the first step of mauifogs 3 step guide. IOS58 is however installed.

    I am able to run homebrew and apps from homebrew.
    I am able to run my orig game discs.
    Config USBloader loads and see games-downloads game covers

    When I try to run backup games from config usbloader (via wfbs partition), usbload hangs (freezes) on load.
    When I try to run the backup discs, I get the disc cannot be read error.

    you installed darkcorp to run backups through the discchannel, can get you into trouble sometimes but i guess it is more a problem with wrong media bad burn, wrong loader settings. checl out the FAQ on the softmod basics linked below. maybe that helps.

    Ok, I read everything in the basics post.

    I am going to try to uninstall Darkcorp 1.1 and redo the softmod any wii guide.

    I remember that when I tried to install darkcorp (before I came to this site) at 98% the sytem rebooted. I dont know if because it just didnt show the last 2% update notice or if it failed the update. mmm I will post the outcome as soon as I complete darkcorp uninstall and re-do mauifogs guide.

    I was able to uninstall dark corp 1.1. I followed mauifrogs guide to softmod any wii. followed his instructions on usb drive setup. VIOLA I am able to back up my orig disks onto the usb drive and play them. My hard drive is a verbatim ... works great. Thanks to all the information I got here!
