    Well...I can confirm that I can't play them either but everything else works fine. It just black screens on me when I start one using 249. They seem pretty pointless though...Like timed VC previews. Maybe if I get some free time I'll play around with other cIOS and settings but it's not high on my priority list.

    They are pretty good if you are looking for some demos to buy for wii ware and get for an emulator, but I will also try pissing around with IOS settings, do you think it is similar to the wii/gamecube usb incompatibility though?

    I couldn't figure that out. It does seem like they launch weird on USB. They definitely made sure to tell you that you are leaving the regular game. I didn't even think of digging out the disc an seeing if I encounter the same problem but I don't see why I would launching a retail disc through the disc channel. I should also try to rerip it and see if that helps.
