NeoGamma Err(1208) - Tried searching, no good results

I have cIOSx rev20 and cMIOS rev 5 installed. I'm using NeoGamma R9 Beta 47 and loading from a backup disc.

I have no idea what could be wrong, but then again I'm far from an expert. Do you guys have any suggestions? I get the same error with Pikmin and New SMB (only games I've tried).

    Thanks in advance.

As a first-time poster, it's asked of you as a new user to post an intro here. cIOS 249 Rev 20 isn't the recommended version of the cIOS, rather Rev 17 is. If your Wii is a year old or less, it's got a D3-2 drive and won't load backup games via optical (DVD).

Thanks for the reply. I'll post my intro ASAP. Is installing rev 17 as simple as overwriting rev 20? Or do I need to do something different? I have the release date model, so the optical drive is good.

IDK, what guide did you follow? What System Menu/region? Generally, yes if using the installer. If it fails, generally the reason is an unpatched IOS (36) or similar.

I used a guide on Wiiso. I successfully repatched the cIOS to rev 17 and reinstalled NeoGamma R9 Beta 47, but I used a different .wad and it's a different interface? The new one is NGBT and the old one was NG47. I don't know the difference.

Anyway, this time I also used a DVD-R (I was using a DVD+R before). After all of this, it recognized that Pikmin was a Gamecube game and recognized the disc ID. A black screen popped up with the GC logo in the top left and text saying "GameCube Backup Loader v1.1"

And then nothing happened... Still stuck on that black screen.

    Thanks for the help.

Issue was solved by using DVD-Rs and installing WiiGator's cMIOS instead of Waninkoko's.
