    cIOSx and WAD manager question

I have a full set of cIOS on my Wii right now,(see sig for current setup). I installed cIOSx249 rev20 with 57 base so that I could play my def jam rapstar backup. Worked good, no problems with the game/mic recognition anymore.
My WAD manager1.5 wont install wads anymore now because of the 57 base. I knew it would happen, not a surprise. I am not a complete noob
    Here's my questions:
If I use cIOSx250rev20 with 38 base, will WAD manager work? Can you load wads from 250? or 222 etc...
Do newer revisions of WAD manager work with cIOS' not using 38 as base?
Is there another program to install WAD files? Without using 38 as base?
Thank you for the time, and thanks goes to replies!!

cool! So, What are some recommendations for my cIOSx250 base, then? I assume having two wanin cIOS' with the same base is pointless, right?

Maybe 2 with the same base is a little pointless
The only reason I think anyone would do that is incase one is accidently deleted or stubbed

I think you should just add whats needed for the games you own. I follow this rule and only have 2 cios installed (249 & 250)
If i get a game that requires anything different than my installed cios then Ill look at changing it all around but it works great at moment.

By the looks of your signature it seems you have everything you could possibly need already

Why did you choose 56 as a base? Certain game(s)? I'm looking for fast USB load times.

Base 56/57 is fast, but it doesn't work with all games. That is why you use different bases on all of them. The standard setup for herme's cIOS's now is:
202v5.1 base 60 For media players
    222v4 base 38 Regular games
223v4 base 38 merged with 37 GH/RB/MH3 Tri (music and online)
    224v5.1 base 57 Regular games

    For Waninkoko's cIOS setup is:
    249r17 base 38
    250r20 base 56

With a patched 236, you can select it when using wad manager, regardless of which base you choose for your Cios. Works with WM 1.6 and 1.7 as far as I know.

I'm gonna use 56 as base for 250. Should be good for now. Gonna switch-up my Hermes soon because I have an itch for WiiWare all-of-the-sudden. Gonna need to update to 5.1 all around, it looks like. Thanks for the info, guys,(or girls, not sure).

all this is explained in my cios wads tutorial

    ios57(loads game fast)
    ios37(loads and recognises mic/intruments and MH3)(slow)
ios56(Loads all games fast ,2-3 seconds slower then 57) the only one not working are Grease and Def Jam Rapstar
