to free up space you can delete unneeded channels and if they are needed you can see if there is a forwarder for that app, and yes if games have started to not work then the update guide is a good idea and alos run a search on here if its just a couple of specific games

Your mod's never really get "messed up" or outdated. If it's doing what you want it to do then you are fine! If you are having a problem with a specific game you can search for a solution on this site. I personally only update/add mod's when a specific game/homebrew app calls for it. That's my thoughts.

Junkmail made a thread tutorial called Updating from your old softmod but since you are running 4.2 it says right in the beginning you should only update to "cios38rev17".

    Good luck!

Thanks for the replies all. After some looking around, i used DOP-IOS MOD to (update?) IOS70 with a patch. Now i can do what i was not able to do with my DS card. Now SysCHECK shows IOS70 with Trusha bug.

    Many thanks!
