Try again installing priiloader (following the guide you are using on this site). When installing, HOLD B and Press + or A to install using your cIOS.

When you try to boot to priiloader. Hold Reset while pressing thhe power button. Hold reset until priiloader starts.
    Damn I suck!!!!

You have a very old version of Priiloader. Version 4 is currently the safest to install, and it can be downloaded here. You also need a new hacks.ini file. Just download the one attatched to my post and put it in the SD root.

    softmodding

after doing it myself being a newbie, you have to look on your settings page before you start from the bottom of your menu screen (the one with all the windows on) and find out your firmware,it will be in the top right hand corner on the first page.find that out and then search it on this site, some wii's you have to do different things like when putting in software etc different zips etc,i did it in three stages making a nand back up incase it screwed up then loading the homebrew channel and neogamma etc, then loading priiloader, maybe read a few threads etc and familiarise your self with different methods before you start, you also need to choose which way you are going to access the firmware to softmod theres quite a few ways to do that too.get yourself a 2gb scandisk memory card too.if i can help you let me know..if i can.
