    Backup (WII Party)needs update

    I Lately made a backup disc of Wii Party...
    But that disc will ask me to update the firmware.
    Now i know this is absolutely a DO NOT DO THAT situation.

    But how will i be able to play Wii Party? I would like your guys help on this.

    Sorry if this is a noob question but im new so....

    Install Priiloader and block disk and online updates. Easy as that.

    Block disc and online updates with priiloader. Wiijohn has a guide on this.

    If you use a usb loader to rip the games you can eliminate the update partition permanently as well. Priiloader should always be used anyhow though.

    That is a very good idea but it is highly recommend to install Priiloader to prevent accidents.

    The bottom line is, that Tanab should go ahead and do the softmod guide we suggested many hours ago, and all these issues will be resolved.

    Thanks today i will go and get my 2gb Nintendo Wii SD. And follow the for softmodding!

    Sandisk SD 2GB

    I have read on the forum that it is best to use the 2GB Sandisk SD Nintendo to softmod your wii.

    I cannot seem to find one in my stores but i can find this one:

    I personally believe it is the same but I would like your guys opinions about it.
    Will the card that i pointed out do the trick or should i really buy a Nintendo Sandisk?
