Netflix Wii Shop channel

Hi all,

Today I signed up with Netflix but they no longer offer you a disk. They now require you to download Netflix through Wii Shop Channel.

I have softmodded 4.3U system and I wonder if I can safely download Netflix channel.

If your shop channel doesn't work then follow the guide in my signature for v20.

Thanks. I didn't try to run Wii Shop Channel after I softmodded my Wii. I just wonder if it does work, can I go ahead and download Netflix ch per Netflix instructions? I somehow aquired Netflix disk ISO, so if there is a risk of bricking my console with "Wii SC", I can just use that instead with WiiFlow USB Loader.

You will need to update your shop channel first. install this with wad manager, then you can safely download the netflix channel. The new channel is better than what is on the disc.

If the user is on 4.3 then he already has what is needed to access the shop channel. Also, linking the shop channel wad is not of much help as the required IOS needs to be installed as well. Best to follow the shop channel guide in my signature (or direct users there) as it includes everything needed.

That is the link to Narse's shop channel wad that has the IOS with it. I did fail to give all of the proper instructions though. Thanks for helping me keep my head out of my rectum Krank :o
