    Angry Wipeout Wiped me out...

Ok, I am not a total noob, but my son's friend brought over wipeout and they updated the wii with it. I use USB Loader GX as a channel, and I can not get it to load. When I start it it gives a screen that says...

    Exception (DSI) occurred!
(Some kind of Hex Dump looking numbers and letters)
    STACK DUMP:
    (more Numbers and letters)
    CODE DUMP:
    Reloading in 5 seconds
    Reload.

    And it never reloads.
Now I go into home brew channel, and pull up Wad Manager, select SD card and it freezes, I go into iso38r14 and it runs untill I hit A to accept the first menu. Then it freezes.
The only way to get it to unfreeze is to unplug it, so yes I have unplugged it.
    Here is a similar thread:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/wiihacks-new...o-restart.html
But I can not get anything to load from the SD.
Any step by step help would be appriciated.

    Edit:
Do I need to post the Hex numbers?

Sounds like you have no cIOS or it is corrupt. What softmod guide did you follow? If you didn't follow one then now would be the time.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I followed the one on here and it has worked fine for almost a year.
    Do I need to try a re-install?
If so how would one go about doing so?
My concern is it will not load anything from the SD card at this time. I have not tried moving Save Games, the homebrew channel loads stuff, but as soon as I ask it to do something it freezes.

Also it is a 4.2U system, if that makes a difference.

Is that before or after the disk update. To verify, go to wii options>settings> what does it say in the top right corner. Follow the softmod any wii guide in my sig for your specific system menu. The update wiped out your cIOS and this guide is the best around for preventing that in the future. Plus you will be up to date with all of your IOS' and cIOS". Good luck

    4.2U After update.
I will browse around to find answers to my next question, but if someone already knows and would like to post to save me the time...
Is there anything special I need to do, like deleting the home brew channel, or USB Loader channel or the other WADs that are installed, before I follow the guide step by step?
Edit: Ok I read through the soft mod any Wii guide, and it includes a 4.1 downgrade, which I remember seeing something in the "don't be a noob" section that says NEVER DOWNGRADE FROM 4.2 to 4.1 OR YOU WILL BRICK YOUR WII. Any thoughts?
Edit 2: Ok maybe that was for older systems, but it still said not to downgrade an already modded system.

Just delete everything that doesn't work (like, if your hbc works then no need to remove and reinstall it most likely) and follow the guide step by step.

The downgrade warning only applies to region changed Wiis I believe, so if the wipeout game was not from your region you shouldn't ever update or downgrade your system menu again.
Also, I believe black wiis (that come with 4.2 to my knowledge) don't support 4.1 and lower hardware wise.

No I have not worked on it yet, been procrastinating. Thanks for the info I will, try it out here within the next few days and post my results. I have never had a modding mishap, and I don't take failure very well
