You have no cIOS as suggested. Follow a softmod guide for your system menu (from this site). Problem solved

The difference is we support the guides HERE not other external guides. Our guides are well tested and our members know how to help people following them. So best not to recommend you tube guides as they will just be removed.

    No, not solved.

I've followed those guides before, and most of the steps in the guides I already have installed. (Homebrew channel, etc.)

When it gets to the part telling me to delete certain IOS files, and then re-install them, that's where things mess up and isn't clear to me.

For example, I was linked to in the past this guide, and it's what I attempted to follow at this moment:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html

Steps 1 and 2 I've already performed. So I can skip those.

Step 3 confuses me. "Restoring the bug to IOS36?"

First off, I believe IOS36 on my system already has the Trucha Bug, if that's what this is referring to. If not, I do believe that the "new Trucha Bug" is enabled. This is what confuses me.

    From the guide:

    a) Load and Homebrew Channel and run DOP-Mii, on the IOS Selection Screen, select 'Install An iOS w/ fakesign' by pressing down on the d-pad then A on the wiimote.
That's great an all, but I don't see this in DOP-Mii. What I do see is IOS61 + AHBPROT and then below it, IOS: 36.

So, I can't perform this step... either that or it's already done.

The next step is the step I believe is crucial to what I want to accomplish... However...

The installation of the custom IOS fails. It gives me an error of -2011. (I believe this error appears whenever I try to install a WAD using a different IOS as well.)

Now, thanks to the guide, not only have I deleted certain IOSes (iOS222, iOS223, iOS249 and iOS250) but now I can't even install the proper iO249.

This is where I need some serious help. I can provide whatever you need so you can better understand my system. However, at this point, I am extremely confused.

I try reading guides and stuff on my own, but this is why I need assistance, as these guides don't work.

I can tell you now all you have done is install HB and bootmii possibly and maybe a nand backup... You are not trucha signed on ios IOS36 (rev 3351): No Patches

This error is because of the above
The installation of the custom IOS fails. It gives me an error of -2011. (I believe this error appears whenever I try to install a WAD using a different IOS as well.)

If you are having problems with that guide have a look at this one http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

Start by doing a nand backup and then onto chapter 2

That's great an all, but I don't see this in DOP-Mii. What I do see is IOS61 + AHBPROT and then below it, IOS: 36.
Thats because you are not using the pack from the guide..You need to read and follow the guide (more info on restoring truchato IOS36 in the guide in my signature).

So, I can't perform this step... either that or it's already done.

The next step is the step I believe is crucial to what I want to accomplish... However...

The installation of the custom IOS fails. It gives me an error of -2011. (I believe this error appears whenever I try to install a WAD using a different IOS as well.)
It fails because you are using an IOS that is not fakesigned. That's why it is a step by step guide, you can't skip steps and expect it to work.

Now, thanks to the guide, not only have I deleted certain IOSes (iOS222, iOS223, iOS249 and iOS250) but now I can't even install the proper iO249.
No you haven't, you still have stub's installed to the slots that your cIOS should be installed to (again this is covered in the guide).

This is where I need some serious help. I can provide whatever you need so you can better understand my system. However, at this point, I am extremely confused.
Well my advice is to read the guide closer and try again with the appropriate pack. If you get stuck give info on where you are stuck and ask within the guide.
If you were messing with DOP-Mii then you likely installed those stub IOS accidentally. Dop-Mii is only used to install IOS, not custom IOS.

For the love of god, you don't have a cios.
I don't know what you did in the past, but all those ios's are stubs, so you need to follow a softmod guide. This is all there is to it.

Another forum member (not in this thread) pointed me to a perfect guide that had everything I needed. (I thanked the guide too)

Thank you everyone for your assistance!

(This was the guide in case anyone was curious)
