    WiiScrubber Questions...

Hello WiiHacks! I recently dumped my Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, (which didnt take to long thanks to FDM) and I want to back it up onto a DVD disc. I have one problem though, my laptop doesnt have a DVD burner, so I have to go to store my dad owns and burn the disc there, therefore I need to place it on a mem stick or som other portable media. My mem stick, SD card, and both my mini SD cards are 1 gig (with the exception of one of the mini-sds being 2).

I downloaded WiiScrubber, because I looked around a bit, see if this was legit, and it seemed so. Apparently it leaves the ISO the same size, right? So I just RAR it so I can decrease it's size to around 300 mb (says WiiScrubber). And it apparenetly has a partition named update.

    1) Since I don't need the update (and much less now that my Wii is softmodded), will deleteing that partition make the ISO any smaller? (Heard it does, just a bit but i need a confirmation)

    2) Would deleting the partition affect how the game plays? (errors, bugs, stuff like that)

    3) Would a scrubbed ISO work in the first place? (I need to scrub to transport it, heard it does work, need confirmation) If so, would there be anything missing? (Cutscenes, Music Video) Because I love the intro at the beggining (obviously)

    4) Do I need to use Brickblocker after deleting the "update" partition? I have Priiloader anyway, so i don't think it'll even matter if i leave the partition there, just for smaller file size. (Didn't find this)

Sorry for so many questions, I did my researching but honestly I couldn't find any solid answers, or even slightly good ones that I could trust

    Thanks in advance

so all you're trying to do is move the iso on a flash drive or something to your dad's store then burn it there? you might be out of luck then kid. each wii iso is always 4.7 gigs or something like that. wii scrubbing may make it a bit smaller and then zipping it up might help, but i doubt your going to get it under 1 gig in file size.

Yeah, thanks for that. xD jk, anything is appreciated, well my friend let me borrow his 2 Gig stick, so I can take Wii SPorts, but not Snoic Zero G, since the latter is still around 3 gigs after scrubbing. So apperently this technique does work, I would like 2 and 4 ro be answered, just out of pure curiosity, since I'll just have to wait for a 4 gig on christmas (Along with NSMBW ]= )

i wouldn't screw with that kind of stuff, or if your going to, make a back up of the iso. It all comes down to trial and error.

Thats sort of why I want this lol, to back up ISOSs since most take up like 4 gigs, x_x
If this works, (going now) I'll let you all know later, since we dont have internet there, by if it works, I mean if the wii reads the Burned Game, and if it doesnt, I'll try some other time, after all, I still have the original lol.

Lot's of Wii games are under 1GB.

I agree, USB loading would be easier. Or rather then scrub with wiiscrubber you could convert to .ciso or .wbfs.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I didn't say it was. Just correcting misinformation.

If you convert it back, sure why not.
