New SD Card

I've already hacked my Wii and its working fine. Now at the moment im only using a 256mb sd card. I have all the needed files and what not on this card . The problem is i cant back up my Wii. If i get a 2GB sd card, can i copy the files from the 256mb card in windows, over to my my new 2gb card and then make a backup when i put it back in the Wii?

Yes, indeed. Do not buy things like mini SD though.
