Hdd enclosure for ide 3.5 disk compatibility

I have 80gig hard drives lying around. Thinking seriously about investing in an hdd enclosure in particular the Zio Memphis brand. Are these compatible with Wii, in general ?

Only one way to find out. If it doesn't work then you will have a nice external storage device.

I will give it a crack. Worst thing that can happen is that it will not work . . .

I personally had luck with a KONIG enclosure (3.5" WD 160GB)

I heard it's more about the harddrive then the enclosure (meaning if it doesn't work with your wii try another harddrive as you said you have multiple)

Yep and if it does work then you can change the HDD out for a bigger one if you ever wanted to.
