    Cant Read my newly formatted FAT32 drive external hard drive on my PC

    Any reason that I can't read my FAT32 formatted USB Hardrive on my PC?

    Did you try another PC? Did you try another USB cable? Are you sure it is formatted (Windows will ask to when it's not)?

    Did you assign a drive letter to the drive during install?

    Try the following (Im on win7 so maybe the names may differ slightly on your pc)

    Right click "My Computer" or "Computer"
    select "manage"
    Select "disk Management" on left window
    hopefully you can see your drive
    If you can, right click your drive and select "Change Drive letter and Paths"
    Select "Change"
    Choose a drive letter then ok everthing.

    Hopefully it is a simple oversight that you have done.
