opera browser from sd card, is it possible ?
Haven't been around for ages, my 5 year old is truly amazed with the wii, and the help from wiihacks.
Just a quick note before i ask a question, wii was 3.1e, went to 4.0 then to 4.1.
only added the usual from the dogeggs 3.1 to 4.1 guide, priiloader, ext, then an external hd, and have been very happy since.
oh I did pop back to find out how to update the shopping channel.
Now I was just wondering if it was possible to run "opera browser" from an SD card, possibly via homebrew, I did read that there wasn't a homebrew app for opera, but I also read about the amount of memory it takes up, that's why I ask if it may be possible to run from an SD card.
Only I do remember the high number of bad blocks when I did my Nand backup.
Any replies would be very much appreciated chaps, oh and for those wondering why I would want to bother with opera bloat, it's only to be able to play a large music collection through orb.
(to be honest the dozen or so mp3's that play through usb loader are starting to get a little boring, and the misses read an item about winamp and orb)...
Yes you can but when you run titles from the sd card they are installed every time you load them so you can use them.
Thanks for that Cile,
So are you saying that I would just be re-installing onto the wii memory everytime I run it from the SD card?..
Or (more possibly) noobed it up and misread your reply .. lol

But I am assuming, the lack of users, being the reason why it hasn't been done yet.
but thanks for the replies Cile,
It is possible and there is a better way ''emulated nand'' the best way to do it would be with uLoader
you can try sneek or iso forwarders

After reading your shorts to uloader and sneek/uneek, I may decide against doing this just for the sake of getting Opera to work, especially as the wii as it stands is working so well.
But I have to say, was uloader given a beating with the ugly stick when it fell out of the tree, it makes cfg usb look incredible comparing the two. lol
Although it might be nice to actually see uloader/sneek in action, via youtube, this could tempt me into buying another s/h wii with 3.1e on it, and starting over again.
