Wad Manager Issues and errors. Help a noob out.

Ok, I just got the HBC on my wii last night. Was no problem. I used the indy jones hack and got everything up and running. Now I got wad manager 1.7 and I downloaded a few wad files. When I try to install the wad files I get (ret = 2011). The wad manager gives me the option of selecting diff ios##. I did a bit of searching and tried 249 56 58 36. Some of the selected like 249 just drop my wii remote and it won't sync back up until I reboot my wii. Others act just fine up to the point that it gives me the above error. What the hell is going on? Thanks in advance.

Followed the link. I don't have 236 as an ios option. If I use 36 it fails with the error i mentioned in my previous post. 249 goes to a screen giving me the option of nand emulation and then my wiimote just loses sync and wont sync back up. the 4 bottom lights just blink like it's trying to sync and then go blank. I even tried to do http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...installer.html and it fails with the same error if I do network or wad option. Got another option?

What guide did you follow to softmod? It sounds like you don't have a cIOS installed.

What guide did you follow? Also, what cIOS including revision? I suspect 4.3 guide, but IDK for sure nor whether mauifrog's or not. Sounds to me like either the cIOS is installed or you used the wrong base for the cIOS install.

You have a little more work to do. Follow the 4.3 Softmod Guide in my signature.

I don't know how to find out what cIOS I have if I even have one. I tried to use the Trunca bug thing but that didnt work. Thanks for your help guys I appreciate it.

Working on it now. The guide I used was basically step 1 of Kraft's guide. Wish I would have found his guide last night. Its a lot more detailed. Appreciate the quick responses.
