booting with priiloader and hbc set as auto

I'm modded w/ 4.1u via muaifrogs 4.3 guide. I have priiloader installed, hbc forwarder, usb config. I use 2 sd's cards and 1 flash usb drive. When I boot with priiloader set to load hbc forwarder and no sd card in I boot hbc with no apps available. But if I set priiloader to auto into system menu and load hbc still no apps. If I load configurable usb and unload it I can then view my apps via usb with no sd card in. Why is this? Is there a way to set priiloader to load my hbc forwarder and it will look for apps and files on usb by default? It appears without loading usb config first it won't look to usb at all. Can this be changed at all?

The new HBC will remember what you had setup last. Try going into HBC and press the "1" button to take you to the apps on your USB and then try to autoboot. If that doesn't work for you then I'm not sure it can be done but just by pressing the "1" button you can accomplish what you are trying to do. It would just be an extra step.

Oh hah! That explains why it would seek sd sometimes and others it would autoboot usb. Thanks Kraft, super easy fix..

If anyone else has this issue. Simply remove your sd card, boot hbc as your would from usb. If at anytime there after your hbc boots w/out any apps listed, pop out the sd card and they should load. Pop sd card back in if youre using a app that will need to read it. Usb config won't mount my sd after it's loaded, I have to put my sd in before or else I get a no fat1 partition -1} error until I reboot the app with sd card in prior. Hope this helps anyone that may notice the same issue.

I can't tell if I am that sleepy or if this is as confusing as I think. Why different SD cards to begin with? Why not set autoboot to system menu and return to, to autoboot? Hold reset anytime Priiloader access is needed, and simply press A on HBC when needed.

I have kids and I wish to keep channels and such out of their crazy little hands. I use mulitple sd's because at current I only have 2 2gb cards, which we all know isn't much, so between them and a pen drive I got a whopping 6gb =). SOOO, when I load up and have one of my sd's in hbc won't load my apps. If I remove the sd card it'll load my apps from usb, which is what I want. My confusion came about when I'd lose my apps all sudden then for no reason get them back. Auto is set to configurable usb. whenever I'd exit that and load hbc after playing a game from sd, I'd have no apps. You're not confused as much as I was ;p My softmod is all of 3 days old, I'm sure I explained it very confusing, my bad..

good job! for such a short period, you managed to set up everything just fine
if get your hands on a usb harddrive for your future gamecollection. you can stick with the fat32 filesystem (link below) there you would just have an apps folder like normal a wbfs folder with your games in it, and the problems with apps there apps not there will vanish too. all on one drive no need to switch anything in between.

    good luck,
    cheers

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks
