Disc unable to read 2 games

Hi there, I use neogamma softmod I am having a problem with super mario galaxy 2 and sonic and sega racers... both games keep cutting off, I have redone the disc many times at different speeds, the disc's are the same as the rest of my games. Galaxy 1, super mario bro....well basically all other mario and sonic games work (thats all we have lol)

Does anyone know why these 2 games are not working?

Someone advised me the DVD Drive might not be working but that wouldn't explain why only 2 games come up with the error??

    ERROR says
The disc could not be read. Refer to wii operations manual for details.

If we take the disc out and put it straight back in it will work for a few mins then start again.

    Any advice?

    Thanks for reading

Bad .iso files and bad burning process will do that sort of thing, happens all the time.

Is that possibly the only explanation?

    because
its the same disc's and burning process as the rest of my games, and I have tried every ISO file I can find

    burn at 2x/4x onto verbatim/tayo yunden/ritech G05 DVD-R to eliminate media problems.

If its an old wii, it could be possible the drive is starting to fail, in which case a USB HDD is the best option
