Thanks for all the help i am getting =) i've discovered also that the weird flashing slot in has dissapeared after the fresh modding has dissapeared, only thng left that i cant find a good explanation to is why i am getting error 1022 on a specific wad file, every other wad works just fine but im getting this error over and over again, doesnt matter if i get a new one from other places same error, first i installed the NTSC version of it wich obviously didnt work as i expected (choppy gameplay and sound, learned later that PAL is a must)
Uninstalled and then installed the pal version of it and it worked like a charm, then i had to uninstall it yet again because of a little troubleshooting (thought that maybe it was the games that i had installed that messed it up with the power off from wiimotes and flashing blue light behavior) after all this i suddenly cant install it again , even bought a fresh sd card to remove the possibility of a corrupt sd card. so now, its only this wad install that just doesnt work ( tried wad manager v 1.4 v1.5 and v1.7)

Now the wad installation worked, seems like you were right after all, faulty wad =/ But now it seems like the controller shutdown issue is here, came back before i started meddling with wads. Seems like that when i have both HDD and sd card unplugged it works just fine with the shutdown, and when they're plugged in it takes about 6 tries or so. this really isnt a big issue but it would feel better if all stuff worked perfectly.

If you forgot to remove the bootmii files that can cause odd things to occur because of the conflicting commands. Check both the SD card and HDD to make sure you no longer have the bootmii boot.elf file in the root directory and also delete the AKTN folder from the Private folder.
