4.2 to 4.3 softmod update

I am interested in updating my already softmod 4.2 wii to 4.3. I would really like to be able to play "metroid the other m" but it wont let me with out the up.

Can anyone please help or point me in the right direction.

Do you have priiloader installed to block disc updates? If you are usb loading, just rip the game to the hdd, simple enough, no update!

I do have priiloader and it is enable to block all updates.

No, do not update, it does not give you any extra benefits... are you usb loading? If so, do what I said, start up your loader and rip it to the hard drive, take the game out and stick it on the shelf!

you dont need the new software, it had nothing of value in it, just an updated wii shop ios61, there is a guide here,search for it. If I remember correctly you load the updated ios61, then install the new shop channel. This can be done thru nus downloader, search for these terms and your bound to find it on wii hacks, I would not recommend doing an official update thru N as I said its not worth it, only bad things can happen

i installed the disk with out the update but it still fails after the training. any hints or tips?

try loading the game using Hermes IOS222/223 or Install Hermes IOS222/223 (If you don't have it).
