Give credit where credit is due. If it helps you, click "thanks" on ANY guide I link.
Yea lol, I never bothered to read what he wrote, since he didn't understand what I told him I figured just let him mess up his wii.
Probably, I can see the amount of effort people place in writing guides and the people who go around helping newbies with their problems trying to help with whatever problems they may have. Then there's people like me who show disrespect to certain mods, even when they try to help.
But this is also a community that practically aids in piracy, which is killing the video game industry. Sure, not everyone may pirate games, but the vast majority of the people who do use these guides do end up pirating. Maybe I should be banned, but like I stated before, I only use the homebrew channel for playing imported games that I bought myself...well and games that use dual-layer discs.
You say it like I don't read the things the community posts
Don't know what you read bud, but your coarse of action taken, your thought process as shown by your questions, and the thought that you think a file will work simply because it came from a private tracker are indications that you may need to read some more, or at least step back and wait a few days for an actual release as well as the likely hood that a viable guide for it usually will follow.
I have see far too many ppl end up in the bricked section trying to do steps to get a game to run that was a prelease from a torrent site, you verified the possibility when you said "pimp my wii"
Also as a website, we need to insure our survival so outright aiding in piracy is not an option for us.
We really don't care where you get your games, but when it comes to getting them to run there are ways you can make the situation more difficult. That is why I indicated a reliable backup would be better, not a torrent.
