Wii re-booting with little league world series

    Hi
I have a wii 4.1U softmodded. My son got the little league world series double play game and I installed on my usb loader gx.

When I start the game, it loads to the screen where I pick either the 2008 or 2009 game. After I select the game, the screen goes black, and looks like it resets the wii.

Any ideas? Do I need to upgrade to 4.2?

    thanks

For starters, there is NO NEED to update the system menu higher for a game to work, as the two things have nothing to do with one another, a mistake I made in the past prior to soft modding.
I am not aware of the necessary IOS required to run this game, put you could follow the steps in the link...
    http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...-run-game.html
... and find the one you need, then install it, as that could be the issue. You can check your syscheck...
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-check.html
..., ignoring the posting portion (unless problems persist) to check to see if your IOS required is out of date. ONLY UPDATE THE IOS NEEDED FOR THIS INSTANCE, as problems can arise later. If your current version of that IOS is higher then the required IOS to run, you are already good, do not downgrade. If that is the case, we can look deeper.
This task may be time consuming, but someone has to do it, and if you do this, it can be added to the known list for others, as the closest game I could find on the list was Little League World Series 2008 only, not Double Play.

EDIT: is this the ONLY game this happens on?
