    like this guide here?
    Softmod 4.3 Wiis
you ll need lego indiana retail disc, no way around it.

everything you need from tools and stuff is supplied in the guide, some files have to be downloaded separately but that shouldn't be a problem.

Or SSBB retail disc. The only other option is modchip with a backup of either of these per mauifrog.

then you're good and can start.
at least you can try it with your card, but no complains if it doesn't work a normal sd card 2gb, san disk or similar gets props
format to fat32 and stick to mauis 4.3 guide

cheers Vinatec, When you say format to fat32 do you mean

The pack in the 4.2 guide
Unzip the pack and place the files and folders onto the root of your sd card. Your sd card should like this:
    X:\apps\
    X:\00000001\
    X:\wad\
    X:\private\
    X:\boot.elf
    X:\IOS38-64-v3610.wad
    X:\IOS36-64-v3351.wad
    X:\IOS15-64-v523.wad
    X:\IOS15-64-v257.wad

Then follow the 4.3e guide word for word

    hey man,
i missed an "it" (format it to fat32) sorry for that, and i was reffering to your sd card.
that should be formatted to the fat32 file system, on windows, right click on it -> format -> fat32 and uncheck quick format.
i don't know what you are doing with the files from some 4.2 guide all the time, you never told which one.
stick to maufrogs 4.3 guide as this is THE guide to get your 4.3 wii up and running. don't try to find some softmodpack from a different site.
stick to the guide, read it carefully and if you run into trouble please post in the thread of the guide.
    good luck with it

    cheers
