Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 USB HDD Problem

    Hi everyone,

This must be about the first post i ever made here, normally i can find my awnsers
in other topics but can't seem to fix this one.

My wii works completely fine! , i can run every game through cfg USB loader
and WiiMC also recognizes my HDD.

HOWEVER, when i open homebrew channel i get the update request to 1.0.8
under 1.0.7 my usb drive is recognized.
after installing 1.0.8 , its just like homebrew channel keeps rebooting my hdd, and no apps show up.

when i install 1.0.7 again everything works again.

I really want to be able to do the update.

im running a 4.3E wii, so my ios58 should be there.
my HDD is a single FAT32 partition.

    Anyone any suggestions????

Moved your thread out of the download section (watch that). I also have this same issue. The New HBC will not detect my HBC or load any apps from it. FAT32 Partition, it seems like it ejects my HD as well.

No idea what causes it, but its annoying. Meant to try another HD, just haven't yet.
    Damn I suck!!!!

    Same problem here!
Tried everything, but HBC (and WiiMC and WiiXPlorer) don't recognize my HDD FAT32 partition under ios58.
I have gone back to a backup with bootmii, but I would like to upgrade.

If anyone knows how to fix the issue, please let us know

    Thanks,

    Doflow

Okay, I don't know what the issue is here. Oddly I was able to "see" and load my apps from the same HD once. I rebooted and it would no longer detect the HD. Also using the new WiiMC and the channel installer it will not detect my HD, but if use my original forwarder then it works fine. Not really a big deal as I load my apps from SD but still annoying.

Have not had the chance to test another HD.
