    IOS15 downgrade problem in TBR

    Hi all

I have been following this post http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html my wii was a 3.2 I believe.

I have searched the forums for my problem and found some similar but not the same.

I can patch the IOS36 okay it says it is completed successfully.

When I try to downgrade the IOS15 it gives me the error ES_AddTitleStart returned -1035, maybe you need an updated Downgrader

So I googled that and there was a wiihacks page where the same question was asked here http://www.wiihacks.com/wiihacks-new...r-error-2.html

It mentions that I should have 2 versions of IOS15 and IOS38 on the card. Where are they because I cannot see them on the card from the files I downloaded off the first post.
I also attempted to download AnyTitle deleter to delete V249 but could download it however dont know how to install it.

Could someone guide me in the right direction please.

    Thankyou
    Steve

Why don't you ask the question in the thread of the guide, like everyone else?

Because the answers in the thread of the guide didn't seem to help. I will do that but don't want to cross post. Can my post be moved?

Hi you could try this method - taken from shadowsonic2s guide "softmod for any 4.2 wii"
    You need dop-mii here> Dop-mii v12
Step 3 - Restoring The Bug Into IOS36
Pre-Note: If you have no working Wi-Fi Connection, you can try selecting 'Load iOS from SD Card' instead of 'Download from NUS'

    a) Load and Homebrew Channel and run DOP-Mii, on the IOS Selection Screen, select 'Install An iOS w/ fakesign' by pressing down on the d-pad then A on the wiimote. You should now be in the trucha bug restorer portion of DOP-Mii. Load IOS36 and select Downgrade IOS15. Each time it asks, select 'Download from NUS'
Make sure you get no errors. If Loading IOS36 doesn't work for this step, press B for no IOS reload when asked to load IOS. Although It should do these steps almost automatically, I'll just include the info.

    b) In the fakesign installation, once iOS15 is downgraded, it should begin patching iOS36.. Make sure to install the patched IOS36 with all these patches selected (Just Say Yes to All of the ones that come up)
    Install IOS to slot (36)
    Hash Check (trucha) Yes
    ES_Identify Yes
    NAND Permissions Yes

Then Press A on Install Patched IOS36. Again, everytime it asks, choose 'Download from NUS'

    c) On the same fakesign installation. Load IOS36 and select Restore IOS15. Each time it asks, select 'Download from NUS'

Once done, return to homebrew channel and continue the tutorial
Only do what the quote from the guide says.
This will work with you wii it is just another alternative to TBR

Would this still work with a 3.2 wii?

mmm 3.2 wii I dont really know, I know it works with 4.1 and 4.2

If you are on 3.2 have you performed a boot2/bootmii backup?
If you have then it would be quite safe to give it a try.
But only if you had bootmii as boot2, I wouldnt want to risk giving you advice like this if you aint got it

No Bootmii would only allow me to install as IOS. I backed up the nand anyway but from what I have read it is useless to me.
I tried what you suggested anyway and checked my network connection first but it gave me an error when downloading from NUS
It got to loading IOS35 v3351 into memory and then said downloading [tmd.3351] from NUS .... Connect error -6
    Error Title>-Get:-1
Error! Failed to restore IOS36 to V3551
