You sure seem to have tough luck. I am running out of ideas. Maybe some other Members know what to suggest, or a Moderator.

Your Harddrive works with your PC, right?
Your Harddrive works with Homebrew on the Wii, right?
The USB Loaders don't work, even though you have the correct cIOS, right?

I don't get it. If Homebrew works, but USB Loaders don't while you have the correct cIOS, what could it possibly be?

i switched recently to configurable usb loader, works better than gx for me.

but if u really want GX, i need some more info, how many and what type of partitions do you have??
is your game partition set to active???

I don't think it's really needed to switch to another USB Loader: all should work fine.
But, yes, indeed, how is your game partition set up?

    D Tunes,
i've the same problem, exactly on 4.2j console.
tested with 3 wbfs usbhdds which were well verified on other Wii's. none of Cfg_249, Cfg-222, GX or WiiFlow_v2 will work. cios249r19 and hermes_v4 were completed installed.
may i ask "how did u test your usb port of the console", to ensure no hardware problem on mother board?

    thanks.

I just have the one partition which is formatted to WBFS. I have another HDD which has a WBFS partition and another for the PC.

I checked the USB ports by putting apps on the HDD for the homebrew and seeing if it detected the HDD and let me run the apps off it, which it did.

My Wiimote charger also works on both USB Ports...

I don't think its a USB Loader compatibility problem because it worked fine for months on USB Loader GX and no USB Loader seems to detect it...
