My car's broke, what's wrong with it? When you scratch your head at my reply, please realize this is exactly how your non-informative post comes across. System Menu version/region? Softmod guide you followed? How old is the Wii? One game, or all games? Disc or USB HD? etc etc ad infinitim ad nauseum.

Probably meant 4.3 downgraded to 4.1. Again, the user does not specify what softmod (hopefully mauifrog's guide) he used, the age of the unit, whether one game or all games, etc. Saying you are using Ritek doesn't mean much either... G05 is supposed to be good, but most Ritek media don't have that media code. Verbatim DVD-R or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are good. At this rate, this thread will soon be closed if OP doesn't get his "act together" as it goes...

And I will ask for the last time: what guide did you follow? How old is the Wii? What region? Final request: do a SysCheck as outlined here and post the resulting .csv in your reply. Failure to do as asked will likely result in this thread being closed. Don't think I'm harsh, you are just not being forthcoming enough.

If it was indeed a 4.3 to 4.1 downgrade as suspected, the Wii probably isn't capable of playing backup (discs). Nightstah is asking how new the Wii is for a reason. Information is REQUIRED, not optional to provide any help at all.

The likely source of your problem is DarkCrap aka DarkCorp. Also, cIOS-X Rev 19 while agreed incorporated within mauifrog's guide, can have unpredictable behaviors of a sort if the wrong base pair are used. I heartily recommend you use Ithian's method of DC uninstalling as stated here.

Do a new SysCheck and post it back to this thread after removing DC. If the problem still persists, you might want to check out his cIOS-X thread about the proper base pairing of this revision of the cIOS as outlined here.

I likely won't respond til tomorrow, I give you a one-time right to PM me if your issues don't get resolved between now and then.
