now the only problem i had was installing USB Loader GX Forwarder -UNEO. it always says no hdd detected then asks to switch to 248 or 222. what i did was extract the app folder from step 2 in Krank's usb guide and all worked. i guess im happy with that since everything is now working as i want. (besides thinking i cant play VC games but not that i really wanted to, just nice to have everything workin as it should.) thanks to all for the help and all the reference guides.

Some Wii Hard Drive Games Not Working After Upgrade to CIOS38 rev19

I successfully softmodded my 4.2u Wii and run things off an external hard drive. I use WiiFlow and USB Loader GX to play the games. I initially had Priiloader v0.3, CIOS38 rev14, WAD Manager 1.4 and version 1 of both WiiFlow and USB Loader GX.

I started having issues loading dual layer games to my hard drive and read that the issue was resolved with CIOS38 rev19. At the same time that I upgraded to CIOS38 rev19, I also upgraded to Priiloader v0.4, WAD Manager 1.7 and the latest versions of both WiiFlow and USB Loader GX.

The problem that I am having now is that a fairly sizeable number of the games that I installed prior to upgrading to CIOS38 rev19 (loaded with CIOS38 rev14 installed) are freezing or loading with a black screen. These games ran fine prior to these upgrades. My assumption is that it related to the upgrade to CIOS38 rev19, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix to this other than reinstalling the games?

I greatly appreciate any help that you can give me.
