Question Usb Loader GX prob. ISO 249 Rev17 to blame?

Hi, this problem is driving me mad, hope i can get some help.

Version: Usb loader gx Version 1.0 r807 reported when i launch in HBC. Rev938c reporter when launched from the channel i installed with wad manager. Problem is same launched from both.

Problem: Usb Loader is loading up fine, it recognises my drive and games. I have installed games on the drive with wii backup manager. The problem is when you click a game no disc icon pops up, instead the app stops responding to clicks, cant get into settings etc, to get out of it have to force shutdown.
I am pretty stumped my this, i have done lots of reading which makes me suspect that if i update to IOS249 Rev 19 this may solve the problem. But before i read up on how to perform this update i would appreciate if anyone could tell me if i am missing any IOS or have wrong versions etc?

    My System:
My HDD (ntfs) is on the compatable list, wii system menu 4.1e, i followed the '3.1 - 4.1 softmod any wii' guide here on wiihacks.com (although i swapped to this guide from an inferior guide on the net).

That would be correct you need rev18+ to load of ntfs drive...or you can install hermes cios222 and use CFG Loader ios222mload.dol or wiiflow ios222

Is the drive set to primary and active...

look at this guide http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...g-playing.html same thing when you read fat32 just substitute it for ntfs ...

except you cant rip games through wii to ntfs partition

I was facing this same problem with USB Loader GX. Sometimes the program just freezes at the main screen without any particular reason. The solution I found was installing wiiflow ios222..

i set the drive as primary and active but still no luck, have no idea why!

i tried wiiflow instead, the ios249 version and it seems to be working fine. the GUI is a little laggy sometimes but i can live with it.

    Thanks for the tips guys
