Need help installing a save for Mega Man 9

OK so i extracted a mega man 9 save file from my friends Nintendo Wii with Savegame Manager 3.0 so i can install it into my Wii system, This method has worked for Super smash brothers brawl , Mario Kart wii and Monster Hunter 3 So i dont know why its not working for Mega Man 9. When i try to install the save it says " Error Unable to copy data"
I don't think im doing anything wrong I already have a mega man 9 save in my system so i can replace it and i have the save located in

SD:/private/wii/titles/00017539/game save

i know im suppose to have the save in a fail of the "Game Code" of the game WR9E which is Mega Man 9 code but when i do that Savegame Manager puts a red mark on the save which does not let me install it

aculy if you have priiloader it's easy. go to your wii turn the power button on.
When your system is on hold the reset button in and it will then take you to a system menu screen.
Go to system menu hacks and enable the "remove no copy save file protection" and then click save settings.
Click B to go back and go up to system menu and your done.
You then should be able to copy any the file to and from your system without useing a savegame manager ;)

Sounds good but i cant do this because the Wii does not recognize the Mega Man 9 save. It doesn't show up in setting/save management/ Wii /sd card maybe because the save is not in Data.bin form its just a bunch of files that look like this

Banner.bin
rm9.sav0.dat
rm9.sav1.dat
rm9.sav2.dat
rm9.sav3.dat
rm9.sav4.dat
rm9.sav5.dat

go back to your friends wii and save it the way i posted and it will be a data.bin and then you can put it onto yours. even though it is grayed out you can still copy and move it. ;)

if i do it the priiloader way i still have to have a mega man 9 save already in my Wii system ?


Wait doesn't that mean my friend has to have priiloader ? if it does i cant do that because my friend doesn't have it and there is no way hes gonna let me install something in his system

go to your sd card you can delete that and go to your friends wii and set up priiloader the way i posted and then go to the save files and copy his saved game to your sd even thow it's grayed you can still copy it. Then go to your wii set up priiloader on yours and delete your saved game file and then then copy or move the saved game file to your wii.

if he doesn't have priiloader how is he using a saved game manager?
and for it to go onto yours the priiloader way you would had to play it once and have a save file on yours.

saved game manager is a Home Brew app

right to have home brew app that means his wii is softmoded so it will have priiloader

Haha, in a perfect world maybe.

im chating with him right now on IM and he said he never installed priiloader because he doesn't need it. It took me forever to convince him to install Bootmii
