    Are you using the latest version of wii flow? If you are you could try the rev before R25.

    If your HDD is compatable, make sure your WBFS partition is set to primary and active(viak disk management on PC).

    Connect your HDD to your pc, locate and open your disk management, on windows it is control panel/system and security/administrative tools/disk management. It will display all drives on your pc. Locate your Wii wbfs formatted partition, and see if it is listed as primary and active. If you do end up reformatting maybe go all Fat32 this time. I like it better myself. Have a look here. I think you mean you are on rev 14 of your Cios(249). You may want to update that to 17 anyway.

    im using windows 7 and i had to type in disk management in the start search bar for anyone else looking for it. management listed it as Layout:Simple, Type:Basic, Status:Healthy (primary partition) along with stuff like capacity and percent free. so i guess it's primary. i'll guess it's active cut it says nothing about it. i forgot about updating my rev for HB. got caught up in all the madness. i'll try that.

    As a personal note, I REALLY hope updating to rev17 fixes your problem, because all of the greatest minds on this site (and then there's me) didn't even think about that. Also, because I still would hate for you to have to format your drive. ; ;
