Partition Not Being Found With USB Loader GX

Hey everyone, just having a bit of an issue with USB Loader GX. I have been using WBFS to add games on my Western Digital 2tb external hard drive on a 250gb wbfs partition. It would load fine, but I have been having issues with games working one time, then suddenly stopping working.

Therefore, after reading around, I wanted to create an NTFS or FAT32 partition, create a wbfs folder and use Wii Game Manager to turn Wii ISOs into WBFS formatted games. However, every time I load USB Loader GX, it says that there is no NTFS/FAT or WBFS parition to be found, which isn't true because I have both a FAT32 and NTFS partition. I clicked both the Select partition option and Format option, where it then brings up both my FAT and NTFS partitions, but then the dreaded EXCEPTION DSI ERROR HAS OCCURRED. (really hope that all made sense) I have yet to find an answer as to what I am doing wrong, I promise I have searched several times.

So anyway, after reformatting and repartitioning several times, I still am having issues. Yes, my Wii is hacked. With the homebrew channel. I have IOS 249 rev18, IOS 222 v4, 4.1U (hope that info is sufficient)

So if anyone could throw me some pointers, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

    EDIT:
I have also tried doing this with WiiFlow 222 and 249, both saying WBFS OPEN FAILED -1

make sure the partition you want to use is set to primary and active

you should use r938 of GX and ciosxrev19 with base57 since your usb loading and wad manager 1.7 supports it ...or use cios222

i recommend using CFG loader also.....

Thanks for the quick reply! I did make sure that the drive was primary and active. I will give Cfg loader a shot.

CFG 56 and WiiFlow 2.0 and 2.1 Both support fat32/ntfs. I have both loaders and they work fine. You will have to create a folder titled wbfs within the partition and extract the games to said folder. This will eliminate the need for the wbfs partition altogether. wbfs_file(google) can convert the iso to wbfs format in a matter of minutes and vice versa on your pc. You can also do direct rips from disc to either partition.

I did create a wbfs folder, it looks like W:\wbfs but I still get the same error.
I did CFG and it works! However, it also says WBFS partition not found, so I have to manually select the partition. Then it makes me use 222 to load the game because it says I am loading from a FAT partition, only I am actually using NTFS...

A wbfs folder goes withing a fat32 formatted partition. You do not need to format the folder, simply select new folder(within your fat32) name it wbfs, load the fat32 partition from CFG or WiiFlow, it will say no games found. Insert a disc into Wii and choose to copy. It will copy to said folder. Iso' on your pc can be converted to .wbfs format using the above mentioned program, and simply moved to the wbfs folder. This is if you want to remove the wbfs partition altogether. The folder will expand as you add games. No need to make a 300GB wbfs partition to only use 200 GB, and think later,"man, I wish I had more fat space".
