    stream wirelessly from laptop/pc to wii?

    Hay everyone,

    Just wondering is there anyway to stream wirelessly from my laptop/pc to my wii like i can with a ps3 or an xbox?I found software but i can only stream flash videos with it and im looking to steam avi and such.

    yeah, set up a smb share with WiiMC.

    ammmm not sure what smb is ( super Mario brothers) or what wii mc is?I just found a link to a program called orb which creates a media server.would you know anything about this or is what you mentioned better alternative?

    I don't know anything about orb..., but just google search wiimc. The first link that comes up is the project website, there is also a forum there with help on setting up file streaming. It can do avi as well as mkv

    oh, and smb is a samba share. I don't know much about it other than what it does.

    chhers bud.ill give orb a blast now since im half way through installing it and if i dont like it ill have a blast off your recommendations.thanks again
