    Problems with USB Loader GX

It was working fine for a bout 2 days (just hacked my 1st Wii) and then all of a sudden it freezes my Wii when I try to load it.

If I remove the usb stick it loads further but of course says that to check if usb stick is properly inserted. When inserted it gives me some kind of "stack dump error restarting in 5sec" and then freezes.

Gamma loader works just fine with that usb stick.

I'd prefer the GX as it's more visually pleasing.

Btw I uninstalled it and reinstalled it with the same effect. Right now is completly uninstalled.
Any idea what might be causing it? TIA

What revision are/were you using? Some of them are somewhat buggy.

Wad manager shows me that it is r929 (it was included with the package for hacking 4.2u on this site, but perheaps there is a better ver)
I wonder if me updating the shopping channel (which didnt work btw) had anything to do with it. Cant remember if it still worked after or not.

I am not sure, but think 929 is one of the problematic versions. Try updating to 937 or 938. You can just replace the .dol file. Rename it to boot.dol first. Let me find the link. Here. If the problem persists run syscheck, from Dopmii/Homebrew Channel, and post the results. We can make sure the shop channel update attempt didn't restub your Cios. I am assuming you already had rev 17 (Cios249), being as this was a recent mod.

Have you got that file as a wad? I kind of know how to use those and not sure about .dol files. I'm not only new to wii hacking I'm new to wii!

Here is the wad. When replacing a .dol file, once you download/save it. right clck, select rename then type boot. It will appear as boot.dol. Locate the boot.dol file for the app, in this caxe GX, delete it, replace it with the newly named one.
