    Partial 4.3u install.

I have a virgin wii that WAS 4.1, a roomate started to update it, when i realized and unplugged it. It was only about 10% or less through with the update but when I turned the Wii on, it still said 4.3u. should I just finish the update and do the smash stack?

What would be the best route to take? I probably won't get real involved. I just want to be able to back games up to an external HD.

    Thanks...

Heck, just finish the update and use our guide. You're lucky you didn't brick it pulling the plug mid install.

I know I know, I dunno what I was thinking, I panicked I guess. I can handle some flame, lol.

Where can I find info on what I can and can't do with the smashstack mod, as opposed to banner bomb?

Wasn't flaming, just cautioning, lol. Bannerbomb doesn't work on 4.3. They're working on it. Indy PWNS and Smash stack are the way to go now. Check out mauifrogs guide. They're working on bannerbomb, but it might take a while.

If it was at 10% perhaps you weren't actually blocked, just try 4.1 softmodding tools, maybe they work
    Downgrade from 4.3 to 4.1

So finish update and smashstack, or try 4.1 bannerbomb, which has the lower probability of bricking my wii?

trying bannerbomb will not brick it since you have a high chance it won't work
