    NTSC on PAL

I have a softmoded wii(pal) and I'm loading games from external hdd with configurable usb loader and I don't know if it is safe to run a ntsc game on my pal wii?

Yes it is. You may have to use the "Force" setting to force your Region. This can be found in your Loaders settings.
    Damn I suck!!!!

When loading from USB the update partition is removed. You will never get prompted to update when playing from USB.

    yes it is safe -

All updates are removed from the game when you transfer them over to to your wbfs partition.
Make sure you have updates blocked in prioader hacks so if you play a disc via neo gamma for any reason and it is out of your region it blocks the disc update.
