    That may be true in that particular poster's experience, but this is the exact spot/error you'd receive if playing with a disc that was ripped with a broken dual layer cIOS. There are a lot of non-retail images floating around that exhibit this behavior. The game must be ripped and played with a cIOS having functional dual layer support. On one you cited may have owned the original and made a backup with a broken cIOS, for example...

    My system is 4.1u(upgrade from 3.1u) with usb-loader GX.
    After loading SSBB game with usb-loaderGX, I removed SD card then....no longer frozen

    I will re-rip the game running wiiflow_222 as nightash sugested, but out of curiosity, do you have USB loader gx as a channel or as a forwarder?
