Does the microphone work yet with softmod?

I searched for microphone and didn't see any threads, so here this one is. If it's already out there somewhere, please just direct me there, but if not, well....

When I first softmodded my 4.2U wii, I was told that only 1 USB device could be used (which is my external hard drive). Has there been an update for this? If so, where, why, what, how....?

There are lots of new games that use the microphone and it would be a nice feature to have.

Oh, I'm running Priiloader 3b, system menu 481, 500GB WD External HD, Wii 4.2U and so far EVERYTHING works. Hope that helps.

The microphone gets plugged into the USB port that is not used by the USB HDD. Install IOS223 from hermes cIOS installer v4, install IOS223 as 38 merged with 37, thah should get your USB microphone working. Make sure that when you boot a microphone game, you set the game to boot with IOS223 from within the game settings of your usb loader.

there are actually several various usb attachments for the wii Vetteguy, your usb HD has to stay in the same usb port but the other is free for whatever as stomp suggested, also usb hubs are a option if you have more than 1 usb device trying to plug in at a time. not all usb hubs work, but a good amount do, theres a thread around here somewhere discussing it.
If I take the time out of my day to try and help you with your Wii endeavors, and you lack the decency of clicking thanks in retribution, it will be a cold day in hades before i entertain the notion of giving your ungrateful butt any more advice.

Nintendo recommends a premium Logitech USB hub, that gets its power from an external source, as a compatible usb hub.
