    wired wii problem

Hi I have wired wii issue D2Pro chip fitted and 4.1e firmware homebrew installation successful and played for a while everything good.

Then all of a sudden the wii would freeze, so re-installed the nand (using Bootmii 2) everything fine, some time later the same thing except this time the wii would get to the health and safety screen but the push button (A) would not show up and you could not go any further. The remote would sync however. sometimes the push button (A) would show after a hew restarts but when you pressed button (A) the black screen of death.

Occasionally the wii will work for a while and then all of sudden the same thing freeze and we start all over again.

Can't for the life of me figure out whats going on.

    Can anyone help.

I have done two success full homebrew installation using the same methods and this occasion I have nothing different, nothing has been later installed and then gone boo-loo. Don't know what it is.

Scan your system with Dop-Mii and post the CVS report here.

Did you ever try installing Priiloader? If you did, you may have a priiloader brick because you didn't install patched IOS60 although priiloader shouldn't have installed but let me know if you attempted this.

Reinstalling your nand will not uninstall priiloader or preloader.

I'll check back later but if you did attempt to install priiloader then load up the installer and press - to uninstall. This will take care of it and if you want to re-install priiloader follow the softmod guide first as you will have to install trucha back into IOS36 then install patched IOS60 and then priiloader. Sorry I have to sign off but I'll check back in.

Hi thanks again for your help tried uninstall the preloader.

    this is what i did

    1. Loaded home brew
    2. Loaded Priloader
    3. pressed (-) button

The uninstaller says something about can't read from original tickect, iso36 not sign and dosn't uninstall

If a nand restore dosn't remove the priloader then it will be in there from the last time it was installed.

Use Dop-Mii to install IOS36 w/fakesign and then try running the preloader installer again to uninstall.

    Just run Dop-Mii
After the warning screen Choose the option that says install IOS36 w/fakesign make sure you have an internet connection and follow the prompts.
You will first downgrade IOS15 and then install IOS36 w/fakesign and then reinstall IOS15.
The installer will guide you through the process just keep saying yes when prompted.

Then run the preloader installer again and choose - to uninstall.
