    We need more information. Such as the directory where the boot.dol/elf is, and what it is for.

    I assume you are trying to run the hackmii installer?

    -
    Make Sure WiiConnect24 Is Off
    - Use a 2GB or less SD Card. NO SDHC Cards. Full Formatted to FAT32. (Sandisk 2GB Regular SD Is Recommend)
    - Try Alternate Versions of BannerBomb

    System Menu 4.2 --> BannerBomb V2
    System Menu 3.1-4.1 --> Bannerbomb V1
    Damn I suck!!!!

    Maybe a dumb question but are you just putting the boot.dol and boot.elf on the root of your sd card? If so, you need to run the homebrew installer with bannerbomb as Krank listed above. Bannerbomb will show as a folder on your sd card named private. Check to make sure you have this folder on your sd card as you can not load a boot.dol or boot.elf without it. Since you are on system menu 4.2 download bannerbomb v2.

    Like I said in my previous post sounds like you do not have bannerbomb on the SD card. Get bannerbomb v 2 here copy the private folder to the root of your sd card then retry.

    Sounds like you have 4.3... Bannerbomb does not work with 4.3. Double check your SM Version and follow the appropriate guide.
