Ok Dop Mii is running off the sd card and I can install IOS36 w/fake sign but it asks which IOS I would like to use to install other IOSes. It currently says IOS 36

Edit: I have not touched IOS60, I just had read in the guide to removing the softmod that I would need to use it if I wanted to do that.

After you install IOS36 w/fakesign you can use IOS249 to install other IOS which should be installed if you used messie's guide. If you do not have IOS249 then use IOS36. I don't think you need to install any other IOS at this time. Just exit Dop-Mii and your homebrew apps should now be working.

Thanks but I am actually stuck with the installation of IOS 36 with fake sign. Do I want to install it as IOS 36? The screen says:

Which IOS would you like to use to install other IOSes?
IOS: 36 (but I can change to this to 249) <= this is the part i am wondering about. Do I use 36 or some other number here?
    Install IOS36 (v3351) w/fakesign

OK when you first load Dop-Mii you will see a warning screen. After the warning screen you will have the option to either load an IOS which the default is IOS36 or the other option will be to Install IOS36 (v3351) w/fakesign. Click the option to install IOS36 (v3351) w/fakesign and follow the prompts to continue.

After this process is finished, you can then use IOS249 to install other IOS if you like. But make sure you are installing the right ones this time!

I left the default as IOS 36 and selected the option to install the fakesign one below. Then a new screen came up saying 'current IOS is not 36. Loading IOS36 . . . ' but that was over 5 minutes ago. I am wondering if it has locked up, or will it take a while.

No, it shouldn't hang like that. OK reboot and this time on the Dop-Mii main menu choose to use IOS249 to install other IOS. On the next screen, navigate to IOS36 (v3351) and press + to install. You will be asked if you want to apply patches and say yes to all of them.

I will wait to hear back.

I have had no luck with 249 either. Just locks up. I tried both again and still no luck. I also tried the system check option in DOP-Mii but it locked up and I had to reboot aswell.

Looks like we need to take a different approach. Hang in there I'm putting together a different pack for you.

This works with bannerbomb to get you into wad manager.
    Download CB2_BB_Wad-Manager-1.4.zip
Load wad manager and install the wad I included in the pack.
    Choose to install patches.
