Gx has a setting, I believe on game load, where you can toggle between partitions. Is it possible you were not pointing to the wbfs partition? I have seen this on more than a few occaisions.

Early on I locked my HDD trying to create a fat32 partition after I had games on it. I had the entire drive formatted to wbfs, decided I wanted a fat32 partition. That will cause your wbfs partition to be locked/corrupted, and or vanish completely.

I'm curious about this...it's hard to believe all your games disappeared just like that, what kind of hard drive are you using? I have a feeling the problem may be the HDD itself...

This is not hard to believe, it has happened before. With certain unknown version(s) of usb loader gx, after using Hermes cIOS installer v5 and booting usb loader gx, a few members had reported losing the games on their HDD. I had a chat with one of the members, but he never replied to me about what version of GX he was using.

I'm not saying that this is the problem with the op's hdd, but it has happened before.

If the op is using usb loader gx, I would like to know what version so I can test this on my HDD, just to see what happens.

Really? well, now I feel insecure...how can I check which version of Loader GX I have and if I have a chance of running into this problem? I'm probably being a bit paranoid but I sure wouldn't want to install 23 games all over again...

It seems kind of rare that this happens, this is only the 4th one I have seen, the other times I have seen it is when Hermes v5 was first released. You don't have to worry, if you have hermes v4 installed. Hermes v5/5.1 was made by hermes for uLoader and is not recommended for use with any other usb loader, Hermes v5/5.1 will offer no improvements, over hermes v4, to other usb loaders. As for what versions of usb loader gx or which hard drives are affected, I don't know. If it hasn't happened to you by now, then it probably will not.

No, I made sure not to touch the partition choice always leaving it at WSBF. As far as making the partition I set al of that up before I even loaded the games.

I checked to see the version of USB loader gx ms was unable. All I can say is that I did update it online so I would think I had the latest version.

The hdd I am using is a WD passport easential se 750g. I really think this has nothing to do with the hdd. I was running everything with no issues for about a month.

Cios before this all happened I only used the cios installer. I didn't use heme's. Since this occurred I updated all of my cios. Using heme's v5. No problems yet.

What would happen if the setting in USB loader were changed to use a different cios and that cios was not installed?
As I stated at the beginning I was attempting to play a game that had issues. I researched and found that people fixed the problem by using a different cios. 222 I believe. If I didn't have 222 installed what would happen?

I am still using V4 for everything except Uloader(Cios 224 found in one of Cile's blogs). I have had no problems with it since last time, but that was a result of my own error.
@OP. I don't think selecting a Cios that isn't installed would do this. I believe it would just not allow that particuliar game to boot, unless you tried that for the entire loader. Hopefully everything is in order now.

Everything is running now. When I changes the ios in the gx menue I believe it was for the entire loader.
