Us Issues with channels (from WAD installs)

Not sure where to start, kinda feels like a mess right now.

I used the stickied 4.2u guide.

First issue, the 4GB PNY SDHC card flat out will not work. I get Error -1 on it every single time no matter how I have it formatted Fat/Fat32, same goes for mounting my HDD which has a fat32 partition and a WBFS partition (the latter works fine with USB loaderGX). So I gave up on that and went back to my other SD card which seems to work when installing WADs.

WAD manager 1.5 by the way:

I started getting error -1022 ONLY when installing N64 wads... I kind of figured I was out of space on the wii which I was correct, but after moving everything to SD I still get -1022 on my N64 wads from WAD manager... Maybe their corrupt who knows?

So I started moving channels to the SD card using the Wii system menu. After doing this, the channels (SNES ones, etc which worked before the move) all say "failed to launch" when I attempt to run from the SD card channel selection (and chose no on boot.elf).

Then I just just figured I'll move them over to the Wii when I want to use them, then back to SD when I won't use them for a while. But when I'm in data management and click on SD card, the whole system freezes. If Boot.elf is not on my root, it doesn't freeze, but refuses to move for the exact reason that boot.elf is missing...

I installed cios38rev17 as the tutorial stated. So... I don't know what the heck is going on.

Any info would be enormously appreciated.

    Edit:

Figured out the error -1022 issue. I had to uninstall the wad from the manager before attempting to reinstall. Just removing them from the Wii menu alone wasn't enough. But the issue with moving channels or attempting to launch channels from the SD card still stands. Thanks again.

Has anyone else had an issue moving channels from SD memory to Wii or playing off the SD card?

4GB is SDHC, it's best to use a 2GB or less SD card (non HC). Also, least trouble with Sandisc cards. Never had any problems with my sandisc 2gb.

Those channels, are they original Wii channels or 'hacked' ones? The hacked ones (homebrew channel, backup loaders etc) aren't signed so the wii won't accept them (using WAD manager bypasses this security check)
Also, if you pirated official channels (shame on you) don't expect them to copy normally either because they aren't supposed to be on your wii (as you didn't buy them). And yes, you need to buy them per Wii, not per home/person...

I've never tried to move any channels between my Wii and SD card to be honest, so can't help you with that.

<<(using WAS manager bypasses this security check)>>

Hi, what's the full name of this manager or where can I find a link to it? I've been searching google and wii hacking forums including this one for days. The Wii doesn't have nearly enough built in memory for all the channels I want, so I'm very interested in getting around the sd loading security check. Thanks in advance!

Not sure what he is trying to say - unless it was a typo and he meant WAD

Wait, so WAD manager can get around the Wii's limited internal memory (for example play them off the SD card without any problems?)
