Only certain games crash, different issues for each

    Hi guys,

I have done quite a bit of searching through the forums but can't seem to find an actual solution to my problems. I do have a fair idea now but would like to double check.

Half of my games work perfectly, the others crash as different points. Monster hunter tri, Madworld, Super mario galaxy 1 and 2, New super mario bros, Sin and punishment 2, Rune factory frontier, Mario party 8 and Link's crossbow training all work perfectly.
    But:
Super mario galaxy crashes at the start of first bowser world
Super mario galaxy 2 crashes as you collect first great star
Tiger woods '10 crashes at the end of the loading screen
Warioware: Smooth moves just gives me a black screen from the start

I'm using the newest USB loader GX but have also tried USB loader GX r825, neogamma 7, neogamma 8 b7 and neogamma 9 b10 so it can't be the loader.

I've tried two different ISOs for the Mario Galaxy games so I'm guessing it's not a bad ISO. I've tried ISOs and cISOs and extracting them to the other format but that did nothing.

I've tried fiddling with the loading settings in each loader (video settings, 002 fix, etc) and am confident it's not them.

I've compared my IOS versions (checksys printouts) against other peoples' posts and they are the same

Here are my thoughts: Warioware is probably an IOS problem as it doesn't load at all. I have tried using WiiScrubber but it doesn't have the _sys folder (indicating an illegal warez version I believe?)

The Mario Galaxies could be bad downloads as they play but crash at a particular point. But for two different ISOs? Does it perhaps matter what version of Jdownloader/Winrar I have? According to most of the stickies on game crashes, a crash midway through gameplay means a bad dump/download/burn. I don't use discs so it can't be a burn and others say the ISO works for them so it's probably not the dump.

I have a softmodded 4.2E Wii, modded using shadowsonic's guide (cIOS249-rev17). And my external HDD is a WD elements 500GB, but this has been proven to be working.

Any help at this point would be much appreciated, I have been searching for weeks and have tried my best to do this independently.

    Cheers

Wow thanks for the fast reply Krank!

I have the sneaking feeling that the two ISOs may have actually been the same so I'll give that another crack anyway.

But here is the syscheck (I presume this is the one done through DOP-Mii instead of SignCheck, what is the difference by the way?):

    @ Pwes025

Hmm, that is not the full syscheck...does it freeze on you?

Run This...It will output a file on your SD...SysCheck 1.6.rar

Ah I see, I was using DOP-Mii and just typing what I saw on the screen haha

It didn't freeze, here is the output:

I don't know how to post it formatted so hopefully that will do

Your Syscheck looks good. Try a different USB device and CFG USB Loader just to rule out those things. Re-Rip your game. Not much else I can think of.

Wow, sorry for the slow reply Krank. Not that that's really disadvantaging you or anything...

I tried another USB device and it didn't help, crashed at the same point. But I got another ISO and it worked perfectly!

Just goes to show, the obvious solution is probably the right one.

    Thanks for your help
