Correct way to ejec HDD with 2 partitions (WBFS and FAT32) ?

Hey guys!, so this is my question.

I have a HDD with a WBFS partition and a FAT32 partition. When i plug it in to the PC, it shows 2 drives (Obviously, the WBFS and the fat32 ones).

Which is the correct way to eject my HDD?, since i dont see any "Eject" option under the FAT32 drive and on the WBFS drive it says it cant eject it.

Thanks, and excuse my bad english. (Foreigner here).

Assuming you're on Windows, there's an icon with a green arrow ("Safely remove hardware") that appears in the taskbar once you have an external HDD plugged. You just left-click that and it will give you the option to "safely remove" both partitions at the same time (as it knows they're in the same HDD).

Better to be safe than sorry. That was a legitimate question, no need to feel "stupid"

Doesn't really matter any more. I have never lost anything or corrupted any files with XP or greater. Back in the Windows 2K days you would loose any new files it you didn't stop the drive before pulling it out but it's not a problem anymore.

Yeah, sometimes my pc will tell me the drive is in use, even though it isn't, I just unplug the usb, lol. All my games still run, but I do eject the drive whenever possible.

I have a NTFS partition on my external HDD and NTFS can break if you don't eject it properly. I needed to do a MFT restore once and it was pretty scary.

Always eject. It takes 2 seconds and there is no good reason not to.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Thanks, I also have an NTFS partition and wasn't aware of that. It just contains bluray rips to save space on pc, but still.
