    2. Can I solve the problem [An error has occurred - Press the eject button, remove the Game Disc, and turn the power off. Please read the Wii operations manual for more information] it comes when I run the Disc Channel? (Some said I have to reinstall cIOS and updated neo gamma is that right?)

    Any body know how to solve this problem that I can run the DVD disc on disc channel thx & take your time

    Disk channel?
    Only 2 ways to be doing that. Using a modchip, or using some form of cioscorp.
    If you are using one of our softmod guides without either of those 2 things, you need to use a softmod loader to launch disk backups. Neogamma is probably the most popular for disk loading and comes with all of our softmod guides.

    Thanks brother oddgriffin again and again and I hope you are great ^_~ The problem is that I wasn't able to run burned DVD disc in my disc channel when I bought the wii just through another channel. It softmoded when I bought it v3.2u and the new games can't run them, so I came here and read lots of the guides about softmods and because of your help guys I install HBC, neogamma and other things and now I can play new games. when I finished the upgrade my Wii with the softmod I found the disc channel is working! but after that I tried to play MG2 so I put IOS56-64-v5405.wad in the WAD folder in the SD and install it through HBC then Wad manager... After that I found that error and when I saw to disc channel I found there is an image of the disc out the channel! I wasn't able to run the disc through disc channel and neogamma @_@ After that I went to HBC and wad manager and uninstall the IOS56-64-v5405.wad so now I can run the game from neogamma but no way by disc channel >_<" Sorry for long boring story ^^;

    Regards, Necro

    Yea, you got me a bit confused here. Like I was saying, there are only 2 ways disk backups will work from the disk channel. The original retail disks can run from the disk channel, but not the backups unless you use cioscrap or use a modchip.
    I don't know how you ever did it before, but unless you had a modchip or had cioscorp, backups won't run from disk channel.

    To me it sounds like the user has softmodded, then later on installed cIOSCORP...then he messed with his cIOSCORP IOS by installing official "N" IOS which caused cIOSCORP to fail. Maybe a misunderstansing of the software being used on the users part (Although I have to say you are very polite and nice to deal with). Maybe more info will help?

    Yea, he is definitely the kind of person worthy of the time and effort to help, We usually get alot of selfish and ungrateful types in here, so it is refreshing.

    Proabaly right about the cioscrap, darkcrap (just can't resist) wad replacement mishap.

    Hi there again ^^ and sorry for late reply that I got many works to do yesterday ^^;

    Thx bro krank and I appreciate that but it makes me lil bit shy lol and thank you guys so much

    hmph! I'm wondering how it was running through disc channel and you say I need modchip or cioscorp to run backups on disc channel @_@ I guess I installed these things from the SD by HBC and they are cISO38r17, priiloader, and Wad Manager ^^ so now, to run to run e.g. SMG2 from Disc Channel:

    1- Download and Install modchip or cioscorp and its gonna be installed from HBC if I didn't get it wrong
    2- Cuz SMG2 needs 4.2U, I need to download Wad Manager 1.6 (here do I need to put it in the SD directly or there is some steps to do before ^^; )
    3- That's it, I gonna be finally play SMG2 I have been waiting to play this game honestly

    If there more steps I have to do to run SMG2 & through DC, I appreciate your advices finally, thank you brother oddgriffin and brother krank for everything you did in trying to solve the errors, run SMG2 and teach me important things to understand the way to softmod my Wii, really I appreciate your kindness ^_~

    Regards, Necro

    Hmm maybe this is a communication thing but..

    1. A modchip is not installed from HBC. It is a hardware modification, not software. cIOScorp is a software mod and IS installed from the HBC. (cIOSCORP is not good and I would avoid it) You can play your backups using Neogamma.

    2. SMG2 DOES NOT need 4.2. Games do not depend on system menu. They use IOS. Read the SMG2 thread by Ithian in the games section of the forum. Wad manager 1.6 is not related to what your talking about but 1.6 is not a good version to use. 1.4, 1.5 or 1.7 is recommended.
    Damn I suck!!!!

    Hi brother Krank, nice to see you again and I hope you are great ^_~

    1. oh I see, I guess I had modchip cuz when I bought the Wii it was able to run backups (not all of them), so I made softmod and I was able to run new super mario bros. I can now run backups through neo gamma but I was hoping through DC cuz its faster

    2. Yeah you guys informed me about that ^^; seems I forgot, sorry >< I see so I won't need Wad Managers

    I gonna read the guide of bro
    Ithian, and thanks dear brother krank and I wish all the best for you

    Regards, Necro
